Cooking Blog

I have started yet another blog. This one was inspired by Jashell. She is starting to cook more and is always looking for new recipes, and often calls me for them. I cook pretty much every night and have since I got married 4 1/2 years ago. We use a menu to help us out with our cooking. This definitely has saved us a lot of money. We are the Champions!!

Calen's Minico JV Football team took first place in the Rocky Mountain Conference with a perfect record in their division!  They will play another game agains Shelly in Shelly this week, but the conference is already clenched!  Congratulations and Great Job to all of the boys on the team!

Family togetherness

Celebrated having Jeremy home by having a barbeque. Lots of good food and some of our family. Thanks to everyone who came and joined us. It was a last minute thing but it was good to see all. First time Zane and Jeremy have seen each other in forever. Jeremy got to meet McKenna for the first time. Unfortunately we have to take him back to the airport to fly out on Wed. morning. Never enough time for him to see and do it all. Wish we had more time with him though.

Jeremy will be home Sept.29 - Oct 6 for a pre deployment visit. He is bringing one of his buddies home with him. We are looking forward to having all our kids home together for a bit. Not so  crazy about the deployment to Afghanistan but the sooner he goes the sooner he comes home.

Family Update

Derek is still working at REI (an outdoors sporting goods store) in Spokane.
I work at our church office.
Josiah is 4 and 1/2 months old now, he can roll over and he is teething. :(
We are currently the youth pastors of our church and it is great to see the group growing and building up their relationships with God and each other.

Other than that, we haven't really been up to much. :D
